Description

LED ZEPPELIN II RL SS 1st Press RARE 1969 The Lemon Song Credits original credits . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.

US 1st pressing (with the 1841 Broadway address on the labels), featuring Robert Ludwig's "hot" mastering and SS Sterling Sound engraving. These were withdrawn early because the high bass levels caused low-grade cartridges to mistrack, leading people to return the album on the belief that it was defective. Another engineer was then hired to recut a much less "hot" version of the album, and that is the far more common version.


Original label print of ‘The Lemon Song’ giving credits to Paige-Plant-Jones-Bonham prior to reissue, which gave credits to Brunette on future release. 


There are light play markings on side one, also prior owner’s name “Janice” written on label (I had purchased many old albums from her over the years, as she was an old, old album collector).
