Description
TITLE: LED ZEPPELIN - II
LABEL: 1969 ATLANTIC SD 8236 Original 1st pressing. 1841 Broadway Label/Robert Ludwig (Holy Grail Hot Pressing-many prefer this to the UK Plum A2/B2 pressing in fact).
COVER: VG+ to VG++ Thick spine. Super clean with no writing....some minor chips on the spine. Note corner bump in lower right.
VINYL: NEAR MINT MINUS. THICK early 1969 piece of vinyl.
It appears to only have been on a turntable a couple of times, max. Virtually no spindle wear or marks around the center hole. The lp is "as found" from a previous record store owner's collection who put stuff away, and had multiple copies. I have not cleaned it, and it probably has never been cleaned before.
This is a Robert Ludwig pressing with matrix numbers ST-A-691671-MO/ST-A-691672-MO. RL is etched on BOTH sides with a very small "ss" next to it on BOTH sides indicating it was mastered at Sterling Sound and pressed at Monarch...see photos. Original Inner-sleeve (not pictured).
DESCRIPTION: This is the one, the Grail, the best sounding version of this LP, more bass, greater dynamics and genuine punch. Read about it on the web and confirm for yourself this is the one to have! A few very light surface marks that should not interfere with play.
