LED ZEPPELIN II TWO 2, UK ATLANTIC VINYL LP, 1969, PLUM Led Zeppelin II
Led Zeppelin were the definitive rock band! They were formed out of the ashes of The Yardbirds in September 1968 and consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and John Bonham. Page ’s first choice for lead singer, Terry Reid, declined the offer, but suggested Robert Plant, a Birmingham singer he knew. Plant eventually accepted the position, recommending a drummer, John Bonham from nearby Redditch. John Paul Jones, at the suggestion of his wife, contacted Page about the vacant position. Being familiar with Jones ’ credentials, Page agreed to bring in Jones as the final piece. The band did not release the popular songs from their albums as singles in the UK, as they preferred to develop the concept of album-oriented rock. Led Zeppelin II was released on October 22, 1969, with advance orders of 400,000.
This record has a few light superficial marks but plays great with really rich and vibrant sounding audio!!!
Side One: Whole Lotta Love; What Is And What Should Never Be; The Lemon Song; Thank You.
Side Two: Heartbreaker; Livin’ Lovin’ Maid (She’s A Woman); Ramble On; Moby Dick; Bring It On Home.
The album is on Atlantic Records, 588 198. Matrix side one: 588198 A 2 (stamped). Matrix side two: 588198 B 2 (stamped).
Released in 1969. UK pressing. Stereo.
Condition: (as Record Collector's grading system. If I see a mark it will be mentioned however light/small, apart from the usual very light paper scuffs/marks - usually caused by record being removed from the inner sleeve, which appear on nearly all old records and which are only visible under strong light)
Vinyl side 1: very good (has quite a few light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Vinyl side 2: very good (has quite a few light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays without fault).
Cover (unlaminated, gatefold): very good (has edge, corner and spine wear, scuff on top centre front, couple of small surface tears on back, some sticker residue on front top right - see photos).
The record plays great with no jumps, skips or clicks and minimal crackle.

I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
