wide-spine cover
Cover: Near Excellent. E J Day 1st pressing light brown unlaminated gatefold cover with the very rare wide-spine (most 1st pressings had either narrow or 'pinched' spines) and only a handful had this wide-spine cover - see scan for a comaprison between the narrow and wide spine versions - the wide spine is on the left. Clear readable spine. No writings/doodles or seam splits. Light wear to edges and spine. Original poly-lined inner sleeve is Excellent+.
Labels: Near Mint.
Vinyl: Heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Lovely sheen. Looks and plays VG+ to Near Excellent. Some light feathering and hairlines only - no feelable scratches. No skips/jumps on my system. There is some lightish crackle in places (mainly on the run-in and between tracks). Not mint but does sound absolutely great.

However, I'm afraid I cannot reimburse you for the postage cost for returning the item.
Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
