Description

LED ZEPPELIN III - ORIG. UK 1st PRESSING

Hello, my name is Dave and I am about to list almost all of my 30 year+ music collection. Most of it is rock based, but there will be a few bits of other stuff too. As you will see from my 100% feedback score, I deal fairly and honestly and try to make your buying experience as pleasant as possible. I do have a full time job and also enjoy a lot of time with my family. This means that on the odd occasion, I can take up to a week (maximum) to post a particular item - although about 90% will be sent within 2 days of payment. I will do my best to answer any questions and cater to any reasonable requests if I can. You can rest assured that everything will be very securely packed and I always keep proof of posting until goods safely delivered. If any issues do arise, then please contact me before leaving any feedback and I will always endeavour to resolve.

I do combine postage costs if buying more than 1 item, so please let me know if bidding on something else before I post.

So without further ado, I'll just describe what's on offer here. Happy bidding and thank you for looking. Regards, Dave.

This is the original first UK pressing on Red/Plum label of the great Led Zeppelin III album. The vinyl has been played quite a bit and consequently has the obvious surface marks. Expect some light pops and crackles, but certainly nothing in the way of any deep scratches that would ruin the listening plasure. Nothing that would cause any skips or jumps. Overall I would grade it as VG+ visually. The original E.J.Day laminated gatefold sleeve is still in excellent overall condition, although it does have nine small staples around the top and bottom of the front of it. I can only assume that maybe somebody had to fix the wheel back in at some point, which by the way is working fine. There is a slight peeling at the bottom left corner on the back of sleeve and just the one tiny crease in the laminate near it. Spine is strong and clear with just a small 1cm nick in it. Comes with original plain white poly-lined inner sleeve "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" warning and "made in England 0770". All in all this is a very decent example of this fine classic from the masters of rock.
