Vinyl:
Still in nice, clean condition, especially considering its origin, with only some light hairlines here and there, as far as I can see. Labels are both clean and unmarked.
Outer Brown Paper Sleeve:
Amazingly, still in great condition. No rips, no writing, no seam splits, no stains etc.
It still has its original price sticker showing its price as 7.25 South African Rand (R 7,25). This, to me, is not a flaw; it actually sets it in a place and time and confirms provenance and authenticity. Others may disagree. I won't be losing any sleep over it.
The paper stock is noticeably and significantly different from the UK version, and it's a bit larger too, having a 'concertinaed' style.
Very, very respectable for its 44 years, given its fragile nature.
Main Album Sleeve:
Only some minor corner wear and edge wear, as far as I can see. Please note that this SA pressing does not have the A/B/C/D/E/F designations that indicate the sleeve type.
The spine is intact, with all text visible. It also has lovely, sharp 'pinched' ends too, just like in the olden days.
Inner Sleeve:
This has some ringwear and light staining, but nothing too serious (in my opinion). There are no seam splits. It states "Printed in the USA" so it may be possible to replace it with an upgrade if the US edition is exactly the same.
Postage & Packing
No postage rip-offs from me. Ever.
UK postage is by 2nd-class Signed-For at £4.45 (i.e. the price the P.O. charges). I use Royal Mail only.
I post overseas, but not to every place. Please ask for a price.
I don't post to Russia, Africa, South America, North Korea, Afghanistan, and several other destinations, so please ask if you live in, for example, Outer Mongolia.
Be aware that any postage outside the UK must be sent using a Signed-For and/or Tracked service. No exceptions.
Packaging is free. I post with a proper heavy-card mailing envelope with two stiffeners and a protective plastic sleeve included.
