This is one of those very special, supremely-crafted, vintage LPs that will charm the #%*! out of you.
Check out all Seven photos to see this Beautiful, Barely-played, ORIGINAL U.K./ British gatefold issue of LED ZEPPELIN IV LP of 1971 (Atlantic Records #2401012; with etching in the run-off zones: "2401012 A // 3 1 216 PECKO DUCK" / "2401012 B // 3 1 2 2 PORKY"; Interestingly (in case you didn't know), "Porky" & "Pecko Duck" were SO good at manufacturing LPs and transferring the sound accurately to vinyl that there's a growing market for any LPs that bear those signatures in the runout zones); Beautiful & Bright, early U.K. Atlantic Orange-White-Plum label colour scheme >> PLAYED GENTLY & RARELY (See Detailed LP description below).
I bought this one last Summer and originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all.
I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed) and I've decided to sell them.
Shimmering vinyl looks close to PERFECT, factory-fresh condition with NO visible flaws anywhere except for a few ghostly little trails around the center hole. The British collector/dealer from whom I bought it rated it an exceptional specimen with vinyl surface noise (pops, crackles, etc...) almost non-existent. Very nice Gatefold cover has one corner bump to lower left corner tip with wear spots & a bit of rounding at all four corners; Wear spots in places along the top, bottom, and opening edges but it's not prominent; NO creases, Slightly noticeable ageing discoloration, NO water damage, NO cutouts NOR punch holes; A very faint stamp on the backside near the top that adds a bit of charachter: "HURLEY 10 TAFF ST. PONTYPRIDD"; NO promo stamps; NO seam splits; NO Record Club. NO Barcode, of course.
>> BEAUTIFUL Olive-coloured, thick paper inner sleeve with "Stairway To Heaven" lyrics on one side and track listings, recording details, and the famous rune symbols is in Near Mint condition.
A VERY fine original British specimen that has fantastic charm and obviously very well cared for.
IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> I ship in good boxes and can ship up to 4 single LPs in one box. To save you shipping $$$, it's Media Mail: $4 for 1 single LP plus 50 cents for each additional single LP up to 4 total LPs in each box. Second box would likewise ($4 for 1LP + 50 cents for each LP up to box capacity, etc...). Double LP would count as 2 single LPs. I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so keep that in mind.
