LED ZEPPELIN IV
Matrix : 2401012 A//3 Corrected matrix PECKO DUCK - B//4 PORKY
Issue : UK Original Press
This is the UK Original of Led Zeppelin IV. This press is complete with the plum and orange label, the original heavy flat edge vinyl, the original matt textured printed inner sleeve and light sheen gatefold sleeve.
The record in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl has a superb gloss, the grooves look sensational, they still have their jet black finish. There is no whitening, there are just a couple of wispy hairlines and three light marks on Side Two. The label is sensational. The colours are vivid and the white is extremely bright. The black text is sharp and there is just the very slightest spindle wear.
The original flipback dark brown printed inner sleeve has a split on the bottom edge but it is extremely solid and bright.
When played the record sits completely flat on the turntable. The sound is extremely bold, very bassy and vibrant. There are some moments of light background hiss and there are a couple of light clicks but there is still Excellent audio separation and clarity throughout.
The matt gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The sleeve is solid and the colours are extremely bright. There is just the very slightest corner wear. The inside is absolutely superb and the spine is firm. 779 (GS 7.0.4 (779))
