****** LED ZEPPELIN IV ******
Title : Led Zeppelin IV Label : Atlantic Cat No : 2401012
Matrix : 2401012 A3/B4 Issue : UK Complete Original Press
This is the UK original of Led Zeppelin IV. This original press can be identified by the early A3/B4 matrix, the heavy vinyl, the printed inner sleeve with the four printed symbols adopted by each band member and the etchings in the runout. The record is complete with the earliest lightweight matt gatefold sleeve.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is in superb condition, with a few minor scuffs . On playing the sound is bold, rich and bright. There is some occasional light background noise and a little noise on the mark briefly but this is largely insignificant, the vocal is extremely clear and the backing is loud and complete. The label (GREEN / ORANGE) is in fantastic condition, completely unworn and bright with sharp black text. The groove has the essential PECKO DUCK and PORKY engraved into the runout / deadwax. There is very little spindle wear, just a couple minor marks.
The record is complete with the original printed lyric inner sleeve. It has a slight split along the side edge and some general wear, but otherwise it is still very solid.
The original gatefold sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is in rare sharp unworn condition. The colours are still bright and the inside black is almost perfect!. There is the most minimal (and I mean minimal) corner wear otherwise the edges are extremely firm.
A VERY WORTHY COPY OF THIS ALBUM!
