This has the following first matrix numbers:

2401012 A//3 and 2401012 B//3 and the run-outs are etched with PECKO DUCK and PORKY.

The cover and inner sleeve have various signs of age, wear and use, some of which have been repaired: in particular, the cover has some marks and creases on the rear, general wear to the edges and corners and signs of an old repair at the bottom rear seam. The inner sleeve has neat internal repairs to seam splits and a small tear and signs of some doodling that has been removed on the track list side (see close-up photo), but generally it looks okay.

The vinyl has various marks, hairlines and signs of use, the majority of which are light and not particularly significant, but there are two obvious, feelable marks on 'Black Dog' which I've shown close up in the final photo and which cause clicks in that track. However, the whole album plays through without jumps or skips and the marks in 'Black Dog' actually play much better than you might expect from simply looking at them.

This album has a wide variance in recorded sound from very loud to very quiet and a variety of marks from very light to the heavy ones noted above so you get a variety of clicks and crackles and various points throughout the album, so that different tracks play-grade at different levels, with the best track being Excellent or better and the worst being 'Black Dog', as follows:

Black Dog play-grades as G+ to VG- because of the clicks caused by the marks in the final photo.

Rock n Roll play-grades as EX or better

Evermore play-grades as VG to VG +

Stairway play-grades as VG+

Misty Mountain Hop play-grades as VG to VG+

Four Sticks play-grades as VG+ or better

California play-grades as VG

Levee play-grades as Ex to Ex-

So, averaging these out, overall I would play-grade this album around Very Good (VG) to Very Good plus (VG+) with parts that are better than that and parts that are worse.

Vinyl is removed from the sleeve for posting and the contents will be protected with rigid cardboard stiffeners. Packages are labelled "Do not bend" and securely sealed with "FRAGILE" parcel tape.
