Description

This is a fine example of the final red / plum label variant of the initial UK release with cat number 2401012 on the labels and a “K50008” sticker on the rear sleeve.

matrix no’s / stampers are;

2401012 xx A//3 1 2 2 1 PECKO DUCK

2401012 B//4 1 1 1 3 PORKY

The vinyl looks EX+ clean, black & glossy, there’s a very faint long hairline on side 1 and a few others only visible under strong light but nothing that impacts play. Play tested on my Rega it sounded superb with clear strong audio throughout. There were no clicks, no jumps and no crackle with silence in the gaps between tracks. Play graded as Near Mint (I don’t grade as Mint unless it’s unused)

The vinyl has been cleaned on my pro-ject VC-S cleaning machine using non-alcohol based fluid and is stored in a brand new antistatic lined inner.

The gatefold sleeve is in EX condition, no rips or surface tears, no handwriting with just light wear to the edges and a small crease on the front, bottom tight. The K50008 sticker has creasing & turned up corners, looks like someone had a go at removing it and then gave up.

The original inner with flaps on the sides has no rips / tears but there are small splits in the centre of all 3 edges, looking at the Zoso side: left 6cm split, right 2cm split, bottom 4 cm split. Also there’s a stain on the zoso side.

Please see photos. I try to mention faults, however small. A record in great condition speaks for itself - no need for exclamation marks.

I’m also selling some more spare copies of albums from my collection, see my other listings.

If you have any questions please ask

I will post tracked and insured.

-----------------

Gradings refer to the UK Record Collector Magazine standard (shown below). I would only use "mint" for genuinely unplayed records. Visual grading is done under a spotlight. Play testing is done on my Pro-ject or Rega turntable.

If buyer is not satisfied for any reason please contact me, I will refund on safe return of item.

Record will be packaged in a proper mailer with stiffening. I will pack with the record removed from the outer sleeve.

Mint (M) - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

Excellent (EX) - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good (VG) - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable

Good (G) - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
