Description
Led Zeppelin IV original gatefold pressing on ATLANTIC from 1971.
This is a promotional copy, white label with black print. Stereo pressing, catalog number is SD 7208.
NOTE: PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY – one side of the disc is in nice condition, the other is not playable. I purchased this in a box of albums at a local auction house, and after examining the record I considered throwing it away, but then thought it might be of interest to a collector who would want it as a filler or for historical purposes due to its rarity.
Guaranteed to be original and authentic. I do not sell boots or modern reissues.

Jacket: Jacket is in fairly decent shape, with several minor flaws. Displays some wear in a few places, most notably on spine edges and bottom seam, also ring wear is beginning to show on reverse at top and bottom. Bottom seam has wear spot at center that looks like it will soon become a split if care is not taken. Otherwise, a very decent jacket with no writing or stains. Has two original factory stickers on the front, one of which is black with white print, rectangular, which lists the tracks. The other is an orange circular sticker which states “Promotional Copy – Not For Sale.”
Vinyl: Side One is not playable. There is almost no wear, but unfortunately, there in two places there are a trio of long, deep scratches that are horrid looking, they almost look like claw marks, which would make me very wary of putting a needle on this side. They encompass all 4 tracks on this side. The side probably skips, and this side should not be played.
Side Two is in very nice playable condition, with nice original gloss, there are only a couple minor scuffs and perhaps 2 or 3 very minor little hairline marks that produce a few very soft tics, nothing serious. Overall a very nice side.
This item also comes with the original brown factory printed inner sleeve on heavy paper stock. It is in decent condition, except that all three seams splits at the center. I did not attempt to repair.
As with all my records, your satisfaction is guaranteed. If not happy, simply return the record in same condition for a refund of purchase price plus one-way shipping. Because this record is being sold as a “filler,” any returns will be subject to a 15 percent restocking fee.
For your convenience I accept most payment forms including PayPal, money orders, and other direct methods of payment. Personal checks drawn on U.S. banks are also ok but require 10 business days for funds to clear.
Shipping is $3.75 to anywhere in the U.S. via USPS media mail, (insurance, priority mail, and overseas shipping available at additional cost.)
