This is a very rare 1971 first press with A3/B3 matrixes,the correct "misty mountain hop" label credit and MEGA RARE "Kinney music" stickers on the labels
Cover
The original Gatefold cover is graded as Excellent.There is no writing etc.Here is a description of all parts of this cover
FRONT: The front is nice with no ring wear
BACK: same as front..has light record indentation and a little rubbing on the corner tips
INSIDE GATEFOLD : very clean with no major damage
SEAMS: These as usual with this type of cover are rubbed but no splits
SPINE:This is ok no splits just a few tiny bits of rubbing
Lyric inner sleeve
The original soft textured "stairway to heaven" lyric inner is in Very good- condition,has a split on the bottom and side and removed sticker mark on bottom
Labels
The original red/maroon first press atlantic labels are in Excellent++/near mint condition with no damage..just some very small and hardly noticeable spindle marks.superb!!
Record
The record which is made out of thick quality wax is unwarped and in Excellent condition with full gloss and shine..just a few hairlines..but there are no deep fingernail scratches
The audio playback is a joy to hear,starting with side 1 the tracks are pure quality with no sound distortion or loud crackles.very quiet between tracks.Even "stairway to heaven" plays really well with a quiet intro..in places and up close to the speaker you can hear a little light static but this is normal for original 70`s records,onto side 2 which again plays really well with no loud crackles etc just fantastic zepelin music
