According to Discogs.com, this is version 8 [variation 2] of the Polydor plum label variants.

Yes, it's one of the original famous plum label pressings of this magnificent album.
Vinyl hasn't been played much since I got it secondhand years ago, from memory it plays clean. Sleeve is in VG+ condition; one wee ding in one corner, some signs of age. Inner sleeve is in VG condition, showing signs of age, but is whole. NO splits! Vinyl kept in PVC-lined white generic inner sleeve.
