Details: - This is part of my Personal Collection which I have spent many years acquiring, I only ever purchased the best copies, stored them away and I am now gradually selling my collection. On offer here we have a complete rare full set of Led Zeppelin`s 1979 release `In Through The Out Door` all in Top condition!!

All 6 LP`s are 1st UK original Pressings on and all complete with thick card Outer sleeves, Original Brown Paper Bags plus original unpainted gimmix inner sleeves

History:

Issued in 1979 this LP was sold with 6 different covers each individually numbered A,B,C,D,E or F on the spine, they were sold in Brown Paper Bags so it was difficult to know which one you had purchased until you opened it up so to gather a complete set took a long time. Some letters were more common than others (`A` being most common and `E` hardest to find). Each sleeve showed different angles of the same picture each sleeve contained a Magic Picture inner that when water was applied it turned into several colours.

UK Original First Press Criteria

· Labels should have`Manufactured In The UK` on them (people sometimes substitute German pressings as replacements so look for UK text)

· The word `Strawberry`is stamped on the run out grooves

· 1st Pressmatrix A5/B5

· All of the 6 MagicPaint inners have correct `Printed and Made In England` Text on

· All the Brown Paperouter bags have correct UK Cat number `SSK 59410` & `c 1979 A swan SongRecording Distributed by WEA Records Ltd`, also they have a distinctive linedtexture (continental bags are smooth)

All of the `A to F` sleeves have `c 1979 Aswan Song Recording` & `SSK 59410` on the spine (Continental Sleeves haveStereo printed on Spine, UK Original doesnt)

Vinyl: All 6 discs play through Great with no jumps or sticks, visibly under very bright lighting I can only see the lightest of sleeve removal scuffs (I have placed all copies in new tissue lined sleeves for protection as the Inner paint sleeve rubs on the vinyl) - all copies grade no less than EX++ to Near Mint, this is top grade collection

Sleeves : A Sleeve (NMInt), B Sleeve (EX++/NM) a couple of small edge creases, C Sleeve (EX+/NM) small edge creases, D Sleeve (EX+) Some edge creases, small ring wear crease E Sleeve (NMint) F Sleeve (EX++/NM) a couple of small edge creases

Inner paint sleeves are all in Ex+ unpainted condition (See Photos)

Outer Brown Paper Sleeves are all in top un-ripped/undamaged condition

I use professionally made packerswith card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

I use lots of photos to show asaccurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of therecord sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UKgradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand newcondition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The coverand any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfectcondition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signsof having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Thecover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviouslybeen played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wearand tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etcare acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for thebuyer
