Catalogue number: 588171 Mono/Stereo: Stereo Country: UK First issued: 1969 Matrix Side 1: 588171 A1 (corrected matrix) Matrix Side 2: 588171 B1 (corrected matrix) Outer sleeve: MacNeill Press, non-flipback, laminated both sides, grey stripe at bottom front, orange print, tapered spine. Pictures: Click here to view photo gallery General: Very early first pressing with the Superhype publishing credits. The publishing credits were changed to Warner/7 Arts almost as soon as the LP was released and so 'Superhype' copies are incredibly rare. All but the very first few copies of the red/maroon label version have the 'corrected matrix' with the second 8 of the stamped matrix crossed out, a 7 (the 587 prefix was used for Atlantic mono recordings at this time) is then hand written above it and subsequently changed back to an 8.
This copy is in absolutely superb condition throughout, and looks and sounds as if it has only had one or two plays at most. The original, tapered spine, outer sleeve is also in superb condition and comes complete with one of the first 'Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous' inner sleeves. Audio quality: Unless otherwise stated below the audio quality of records I sell will always be at least excellent. Grading (vinyl): EX+ (one or two extremely light non-sounding hairlines) Grading (labels): Mint- (no discernible spindle marks) Grading (outer sleeve): EX+ (a few extremely light half-moons to front opening edge otherwise undamaged) Grading (inner sleeve): Mint- (as new) Summary: An absolutely superb 'Superhype' copy.

The above rates include a small handling fee. This covers the cost of materials, the time to pick and package the item(s) securely, and transport to the Post Office. You only pay what it costs but this is not just the price of the postage. Emails requesting postage cost breakdowns or even cheaper rates will not receive a reply.
All items are carefully inspected and professionally cleaned on a Keith Monks Record Cleaning machine (as used by the BBC) prior to despatch. Records are shipped in heavy duty industry standard record mailers with additional protection to ensure that they reach you in exactly the condition they were despatched. LPs are removed from both outer sleeve and inner sleeve and placed in a shipping inner and outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. In the unlikely event that you're not completely satisfied with any item simply return it within seven days of receipt in its original condition and packaging for a full no-quibble refund (you must pay the return postage cost).
Despatch:
All items are normally despatched within five working days of receipt of cleared funds. If you pay by cheque please allow at least a further seven days for cheque clearance. For international shipments please also allow time for customs clearance within your country. Requests to falsify values on customs declarations will be ignored.
Payment terms:
In order to minimise the risk of fraud, PayPal will ONLY be accepted as a payment method for sales which have an aggregate value of £150.00 or less. This means that if your total invoice value (excluding postage and packing), whether it is for one item or more than one item, exceeds £150.00 payment by PayPal will NOT be accepted and any PayPal payment will be treated as non-payment and refunded. Payment of such invoices may be made in cash (Pounds sterling, US Dollars or Euros only), by a cheque drawn on a UK bank, or preferably by bank transfer (IBAN, Swift details available to the winning bidder on request).
