HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY 'ONE OFF' WEDNESDAY NIGHT AUCTIONS (ENDING LATE WEDNESDAY 1ST OCTOBER!)!!!!
As many people may already know, I usually end all my items on Sunday nights (and these will still continue!)!!!! However as I had quite a few extra items of UTMOST RARITY come in to me this week (they really are TOP QUALITY, and NOT cheap overstock!) and completely ran out of time to list them last Sunday - I decided to do a 'one off' set of listings of Wednesday auctions ending on Wednesday 1st October!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs ON THE ATLANTIC LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! THIS IS ONE OF LED ZEPPELIN'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE, WITH 'LIVIN LOVIN WRECK' LABEL ERROR (LATER ONES DONT!), AND ULTRA RARE 'LIGHTEST BROWN' COVER (LATER ONES WERE MUCH DARKER!)!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION OVERALL - AND IS STILL A VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS RED/MAROON (PLUM) ATLANTIC LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'LEMON SONG' LABEL CREDIT, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'LIVIN LOVIN WRECK' LABEL ERROR, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'E.J.DAY' GATEFOLD 'LIGHT BROWN' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Atlantic UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 588 198 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Atlantic label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO nasty concentric marks, only 2 or 3 TINY lateral hairline type marks, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, only a few VERY light clicks (though mostly NONE!), NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not Very Good - and is still a very VERY decent record indeed!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in GREAT condition!!!! The ULTRA RARE 'Earliest' 1st Press 'E.J.Day' Gatefold 'Light Brown' Cover is still in VERY decent order - and although it is fairly typical condition for the cover type, it is still a VERY presentable example indeed!!!! It has NO sticker tears, only some slight 'touching in' traces to the VERY edges & spine, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), barely ANY toning to the white 'Zeppelin' shape (apart from the usual yellowed trace on the spine!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), some slight rubbing to the cover front, some typical slight rubbing / ringwear to the cover back, NO sticker marks, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Good+ (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a VERY solid & presentable example of the EARLIEST & RAREST 'Lightest Brown' cover type!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
