Issue : RARE UK TRANSISTIONAL PRESS

This is the RARE earliest UK transistional press of Led Zeppelin II. This press is complete with the earliest A1/B matrix, but also has the original 588198 matrix on Side B. It is pressed on the green and orange Atlantic label and is complete with the original polylined inner sleeve and the EJ Day matt gatefold sleeve.

The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has an immaculate high gloss, with just a couple of very faint marks on both sides. The record looks absolutely sensational. The green and orange labels are also sensational. Completely clean with bold text and vivid colours. There is no spindle wear. The record is in the original polylined warning inner sleeve.

On playing the sound is superb - exceptionally bold, vibrant and clear. There are brief moments of the very slightest background hiss but no significant clicks or crackle, it sounds superb throughout.

The gatefold EJ Day sleeve is in Very Good condition. The brown is exceptionally bold and the colours are superb. The cream is bright and unworn and the edges are firm. There is just the very slightest edge wear and a small scuff in the corner superb, very clean and bright. The whole sleeve is solid and the spine has sharp black text.
