Description
Led Zeppelin LP, Led Zeppelin III. UK Atlantic 2401002 PLUM/RED label rare FIRST PRESSING, 1970, with disc matrix numbers ending in A/5...B/5, & 'Do What Thou Wilt' & 'So Mote It Be' etched into the run-off grooves....... this copy also has the rare 'Produced by Jimmy Page , Executive Producer : Peter Grant' label text, confirming an original first pressing....... includes the original inner bag in decent condition.
The FULLY LAMINATED 'ATLANTIC DELUXE' gatefold sleeve has a few laminate creases on the front & back otherwise in nice condition, virtually EX, with perfectly clear spine text & a very clean inside cover....also the rotating wheel is present, fully attached & functional........ both labels are very clean, with perfectly clear text....... side one of the disc has a couple of marks that cause skips during parts of 'Friends' & 'Celebration Day'.... the other tracks on side one play really well, with no sound problems........ side two of the disc has a few light marks only & plays fine, with just minimal surface noise in places - certainly nothing prolonged or excessive, & no sticks or jumps....... overall, a decent & mostly very playable original UK copy, with a nice sleeve.
