Description
Led Zeppelin : Physical Graffiti
The second pressing is in excellent condition and plays with wonderful audio for the vast majority. As per the early pressings it has the "484 Kings Road" address on the back cover and the spine has the band name and title in red lettering.

Visual grading
For 42 years old both vinyls are in excellent condition and have not been played very much as there is very little spindle wear. There are some fine hairlines on each side and there are 4/5 in total that are more prominent but have no obvious affect on the audio. S1 does have one mega tiny scratch (2mm) that causes a few clicks and S4 has a small concentration of fine scratchy type marks but again these do not affect the sound quality. As detailed below the audio plays to a superb standard overall.
Play grading
S1 kicks off in fine style with a wonderful version of 'Custard Pie'. There are no clicks or pops, no intrusive interference at all, and only a little static on the fade out. 'The Rover' plays with great clarity apart from a couple of clicks at the end due to a mega tiny scratch. This also causes a few rather loud clicks on the intro to 'In My Time Of Dying' but aside from that it plays with stunning audio and a fabulous deep bass sound and no distortion. Just a minor hint of static in a couple of the quieter sections. Superb sound overall apart from the first few seconds.
S2 does not disappoint and plays with real depth and clarity throughout. There is no obvious 'background' and the classic 'Kashmir' is quite simply stunning, one of the best versions I have heard in a long time. Again the depth and separation of the sound is 'high end' and there is only a little static on the fade out.
'In The Light' on S3 has a couple of clicks at the start and then plays with sublime audio on the long intro and only a handful of light dust ticks. The remainder then has very powerful audio with barely any other 'background', a high quality listen. 'Bron-Yr-Aur' has one pop at the beginning and then plays to near perfection. The final two tracks do not disappoint either with only sporadic light dust ticks. A good example of this are the quiet sections on 'Ten Years Gone'. They play with a fantastic clarity the likes of which is rarely heard and as I say the only interference (if you can call it that) is the odd dust tick here and there. A little static and light distortion on the end section but overall a wonderful version.
There is a pop type sound literally just before 'Night Flight' starts and then the entire track then is mega impressive with Near Mint quality no question. 'The Wanton Song' is another highlight and plays practically as new apart from a little static on the fade out. The remainder of the side plays in similar fashion but with a little background static on the 'Black Country Woman' intro. 'Sick Again' ends the album with excellent sound and just a touch of static on the intro. It plays with great power and depth and has no clicks or pops etc.
Cover
This has been very well maintained and has only minor shelf wear. The corners have some rubbing which is a little more obvious on the top two but they are definitely better than many you see, very small tear top right. The wide edges have some rubbing but again nothing major and the spine (with red lettering) is in excellent shape. The cover itself is very clean and the windows have no splits or tears. The opening top edge has a small amount of handling wear.
Inner sleeves
The outer credits sleeve has a few faint 'mottling' marks but is otherwise in excellent shape with no creasing or tears. The inner sleeves are very clean apart from one small side split on the first one.
The labels
They are in perfect condition with no writing/marks and look as new with barely any spindle wear.

The records have been professionally cleaned on a Pro-Ject VC-S machine
