This is the earliest UK 1st press of 'Physical Graffiti' by Led Zeppelin. This is rare press has NO Warner credits on the labels, it has 'Gothic Print Finishers Ltd' on the white card insert and textured card inner sleeves. The album is complete with the earliest A1/B4/C1/D1 matrix numbers and the rare earliest ever seen stampers. The condition of this rare earliest press is absolutely superb.
The records are in Excellent condition. The records have a rarely played bright mirrored gloss, they are in outstanding condition. There are just a couple of light wispy marks on each side, but these do nothing to spoil their rare sensational condition, every track gleams. The Swan Song labels are completely clean. The colours are bright and the text is unworn and sharp. There is only the slightest spindle wear.
On playing the sound is Excellent. The vinyl sits completely flat on the turntable and the sound is bold, vibrant and exceptionally clear, with superb audio separation throughout.
The heavy card inner sleeves, smooth on the outside and textured within are in sensational Near Mint condition. The colours are bold and the images are sharp. The edges are extremely firm and there is no wear or feathering to the opening edges.
The white tracklisting and credit inner is in Excellent condition. It has slight discolouration, but it is still extremely solid and bright with sharp text. It clearly states 'Gothic Print Finishers Ltd.'
The die-cut heavy card sleeve is in Excellent condition. The sleeve is in superb condition. The image is extremely clean and bright, the windows are all competely intact and the edges which are so commonly worn, are firm. There is just the very slightest corner wear. It still has the original box style shape and is extremely solid. The opening edge is exceptionally firm and the spine is perfect with clean orange text.
