Description

I bought this record in 1975 and I wrote 'Nov 75' on the top left corner of the track list insert (photo) at the time. So this is definitely of its time and original. They were great innovative musicians in a formative teenage time and now , as for many others, part of the DNA of a generation.
I bought it in Somerset, this double LP has been to Tanzania when I was a teenager and back here to UK!  It has been mostly in the attic for the past few decades; it was stacked upright and kept dry!  On each respective LP inner cover I also wrote which was the original cover for Side 1&2 and side 3&4 because they are different. I have been listening to Led Zep from Whole Lotta Love  and still do. 


I have transferred all my records to digital format so this is for sale to help  finance a house project!


Referring you to recognised description format copied below this record is in  good condition - very good. There is some vinyl surface noise between tracks and quiet places in the recording. Though there is light scratch on the vinyl at the beginning of side 3 of very short duration. I did not notice any other scratches of note while listening. It has all the evidence of 1st press (no Warner logo on the inner label and 'Made in UK' at 9 o'clock on the inner label  the matrices A1, B5, C1 and D1 on the vinyl, the address 'Swan Song 484' etc on the cover).  The outer cover is scuffed on the left side and has 3" split down the side (it has travelled around Africa and back!! So not doing so bad). There is a strip of black insulating tape to protect repair the bottom of each inner cover.
It will be sent recorded delivery for your reassurance and mine. It will be packaged with a stiffener to protect it in transit.

MINT (M):  Record shows no evidence of having been played. Vinyl/sleeve in perfect, brand new condition. No secondhand records can make this grade.

NEAR MINT (NM):  Record shows little sign of having been played. Vinyl/sleeve is in superb near perfect condition.  My highest grade for secondhand vinyl.  EXCELLENT (EX):   Record has been played a few times but has been well looked after. Vinyl has the odd light surface mark but there is no significant lessening of sound quality. Sleeve may have some slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD (VG):  Record has been played a number of times or has some light surface marks but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Any surface noise is occassional or light. Sleeve will have some normal wear and tear without any major defects.  GOOD (G):  While the record still plays OK, the vinyl will have a lot of surface marks/ light scratches and there is noticeable surface noise or some distortion. Sleeve and contents will suffer from folding, scuffing and/ or edge splits, discoloration etc. FAIR (F): Vinyl will have bad scratches and maybe jump or stick. Records in this condition will be collection-fillers only. The sleeve has major damage
