Recording: Excellent mono professional FM broadcast. Comments: A reissue of FOUR SYMBOLS (Accord BLN 6869 L 12436). Matrix scratched out. Song separation.
From our personal collection comes this ultra rare Zep specimen in excellent condition, with loose color insert in pristine condition, pristine clean labels, and clean wax that we would grade at Excellent/Very Good +/++. Given the professional nature of the BBCrecording, the sound is sharp, clear, punchy, and excellent, especially considering its age and the technology of the time. Our copy of this beauty -- the only one we have seen in nearly 30 years of collecting -- is as nice as you'll likely find, coming from a smoke-free home where it has been carefully stored "in the vaults" all these years. As the description above from the meticulous and terrific Zep collectors website www.argenteumastrum.com has it, this is a professionally recorded mono sound for FM radio broadcast from the Playhouse Theatre in London in 1969.
