Description
This is the original Canadian test pressing of Zep's double live album, 'The Soundtrack From The Film The Song Remains The Same', as well as a copy of the original sell sheet used by the record company salesmen. This album was pressed and given to the Atlantic Records Product Manager at WEA Music for approval of sound quality before manufacturing commenced.
This double LP has been played only once and is in perfect condition. Because it is a test pressing the label only contains the Canadian catalogue number and 'test pressing'. It is housed in a standard white jacket.
The sell sheet - which is taped to the front of the white jacket - was used by sales people to advise their retail accounts of the album highlights, song titles, catalog numbers, quantity per carton etc. These were printed only once and discarded once the album shipped. A real rarity.
This is a great piece of Led Zeppelin memorabilia and very rare as it is unlikely any more than this copy was made. To also get the sell sheet makes it really unique. Don't miss this chance to add it to your collection. Please email with any questions.
