This is the UK Original of ’The Song Remains The Same' by Led Zeppelin. This press is complete with the early A1 / B3 / C3 / D3 matrix, the original black inner sleeves and the earliest matt embossed heavy card gatefold sleeve.


The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl on each side has a sensational high gloss, with no whitening of the grooves or obvious wear at all, there are just a few very light wispy marks on each side. The Swan Song labels are completely clean. The colours are exceptionally bold, and the white is bright. The black text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear. 


The sound quality is Very Good. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation, the original 1970's warm complete sound. There is a little noise from time to time but certainly nothing significant and nothing to spoil the enjoyment at any point.


The record is complete with the original plain black inner sleeves are in Excellent condition. They are bold and black with solid, sharp edges and just the very slightest corner wear. There are NO edge splits and no significant wear at all.


The earliest matt embossed sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is extremely bold and the whole sleeve is exceptionally sharp and unworn. The colours are vivid and the image is perfect. There is just the very slightest wear to the opening edge. The edges are still incredibly firm and unworn. The spine is sensational.
