LED ZEPPELIN – Untitled IV (Zoso) • 1971 UK Red/Plum First Pressing

	£		62
	$		82

Description

Up for auction is a genuine, guaranteed 1971 UK original first pressing of Led Zeppelin's legendary fourth album (Led Zeppelin IV / Zoso) on the iconic Atlantic Red/Plum labels.

This is the ultimate collector’s edition of this album. It features the rare, uncorrected "Misty Mountain Top" spelling error on the Side 2 label, which Atlantic Records quickly corrected to "Misty Mountain Hop" shortly into the initial production run.

Crucially, the deadwax features the hand-etched signatures "PECKO" and "PORKY", proving this disc was cut directly from the original master tapes by the legendary mastering engineer George Peckham. Audiophiles widely consider this original plum pressing to be the absolute best-sounding version of the album ever created, delivering a level of heavy, dynamic analogue power that modern digital remasters simply cannot replicate.
