Description

Here for sale is an absolute COLLECTOR’S DREAM!!!

A VERY FIRST PRESSING of the classic album LED ZEPPELIN ii by Led Zeppelin, released in 1969. One of the greatest and most important records of the 20th Century, this album is definitely one of the band’s biggest-selling and rightfully so.

The very first run of copies were accidentally pressed with the credit of ‘LIVIN LOVIN WRECK’ on the label, not the actual title of the song; ‘Livin Lovin Maid’. This first pressing RARELY comes up for sale and has been considered one of the most HIGHLY-VALUABLE Led Zeppelin albums ever made, along with the infamous ‘TURQUOISE-COLOURED’ first album.

The Vinyl

Now, I will admit, the vinyl is not in perfect shape. There are some scratches on the thing, even a couple of feelers. It even has a VERY mild warp (although I remember the guy I bought it off many years ago said it didn’t affect play). But I can’t grade it as ‘Poor’, because to me it is not, although I did see a poor one sell about a year ago quickly for £150, so you’re getting a slightly better one for a similar price. I’ve seen records in even rougher shape than this one, even copies of this same album. I’d probably give it a ‘G’, however I cannot guarantee it will play without jumps.

The Sleeve

The sleeve is in pretty good shape as seen in the photos. Sure there’s some ringwear and the spine isn’t 100% readable (mostly though), but it’s still in one piece. Trust me, I’VE SEEN WAY WORSE!!! I’d grade it ‘VG’.

Overall, a GOOD STARTER COPY of this rare album. Its not a minter, but if it was it would be £1000+!!! If you want, feel free to make me an OFFER for this rarity.
