Description
ITEM SPECIFICS
(see below for more detailed appraisal) DESCRIPTION A classic Led Zeppelin album, strangely rare to find an original despite it being released in 1976...
This matt finish gatefold sleeve has the embossed "Swan Song" emblem on the reverse (botttom left).
This copy comes with the original inner sleeve.
And... although not shrinkwrapped... it does come with a piece of the original shrinkwrap that has the sticker in situ.
... the spine of this album is the only place to give an indication of what this record is, neither the front or back indicate anything about the group, tracks... anything. It is virtually impossible to find a copy that has the shrinkwrap in place, everybody will have ripped it off so they could open the sleeve so they could see what the record is all about... only to find more annonymous pictures and still no clues... so in almost every instance, the shrinkwrap will have been ripped off and chucked in the bin... so rather rare to have it here.
Hipgnosis designed the sleeve... as you probably could have guessed, and has that annoymous feel that they gave to Pink Floyds "Wish You Were Here".
The matrix stampers are A1/B2 making this one of the first to be pressed... nice and rare!

TEA FOR ONE CONDITION (IN DETAIL) The sleeve is in great terrific condition.
The inner sleeve has a seem split along one edge, otherwise it would also be terrific, the split is several inches long.
The labels are clean with no marks or writing.
The disc is in great condition, only very light handling.
The shrinkwrap is very crumpled and cannot be stretched back over the sleeve, the sticker that states "LED ZEPPELIN" and "PRESENCE" in black with a red line above, between and beneath, is still in situ, this does not appear to have any damage.
We prefer to describe the record worse than we feel it is, this way we hope you will be happily suprised with the item when you recieve it. SALES SUMMARY / TERMS AND CONDITIONS We always ship records securely, packing the freshly cleaned disc outside of the picture sleeve to prevent seam splits, the sleeve will be packaged against new made to measure card and along with the disc it will be housed inside a new plastic sleeve. This will then be packaged with more new card stiffening in a new made for purpose record mailer. This is then securely taped as marked fragile.
