This mispress was only on the extremely early pressings of this record !!

 

 

Cover

 

The non-laminated gatefold is in FANTASTIC condition, with no rips writing or tears. There is some rubbing to the edges and a small seam split on the top and bottom edge about ½ inch long at the spine end, but that’s it, there is no rubbing to the front or back which normally does happens to this cover. The inner is still perfect with no writing or rubbing anywhere, looks as good as the day it was brought. Overall grading EX-

 

The thick original paper sleeve showing is in Nr/Mint condition with no signs of wear!!

 

Vinyl

 

The heavy thick black vinyl still retains all of its original luster, and the RARE Plum and Red Atlantic labels show little or no sign of play and I must say they look PRISTINE. Under bright light there are only a few very very faint paper marks, but no scratches it looks absolutely IMMACULATE! On playing the run in areas are virtually silent, it plays great throughout with NO SKIPS or JUMPS and only the occasional surface noise is audible this is mainly during the quieter periods, therefore an EX grade has been given.

Copies of this LP with the original Red & Plum Atlantic labels were only produced for an extremely limited period of time in 1971, coupled with the MISPRESS credit which only occurred on the earliest pressings of this record plus the IMMACULATE condition that this one is in, this really is an opportunity that does not arrive very often….
