Up for bids is a rare, early original Mono Soul/Funk LP by Lee Dorsey called “Ya Ya" on Fury Records. FULP 1002. 1961.
RARE ORIGINAL DEEP GROOVE PRESSING!
PRESSED ON THICKER, HEAVIER VINYL!
Matrix (or Trail-Off) Numbers read as an etched "FU-LP-1002-A" with an etched "FLP 1000-A" crossed out about it and an upside down etched "- 3" for Side One, and an etched "FU-LP-1002-B" with an etched "FLP 1000-B" crossed out about it and a faintly etched "L W" for Side Two.
NOTE:
The grades I use are Mint (rarely used grade), Near Mint, VG+++ (rarely used grade), VG++, VG+, VG, VG Minus, Good+, Good, Fair and Poor.
Cover is in Good condition. Has some minor wear on front and some more on back which also has some staining. Top and bottom of cover have some light water damage. Front of cover has an old price sticker which is torn, and a small part of the cover near it is also torn. Spine is almost intact with a 2 1/2" split at the bottom. Top of cover has a 7 3/16" split at the opening and an old dried piece of clear tape. Bottom of cover is completely split and has three old dried pieces of clear tape which are actually holding the cover together.
I would rate the record’s condition as a STRONG VG to VG+. It has some marks and scratches that don’t greatly affect play. Some scratches are deep but don't last long. Minor surface noise at times. Overall, it still sounds really nice on my player!
