Description
Sweet as syrup original copy of the fabulous Lee Konitz “with Warne Marsh” LP, released by Atlantic (1217). Black label, deep groove copy. Features Sal Mosca, Billy Bauer, Oscar Pettiford, Kenny Clarke, and Ronnie Ball, along with the co-leaders. Cover just shy of near mint, with a small bit (less than ½”) of paper loss in lower right corner – see scan. One of the finest jazz photo covers ever, in tremendous condition. The LP, you ask? Strong VG++ on one side, and a solid VG+ on the other. Cleaned on a VPI, it plays no less than VG++ throughout, and most of the time you’d be convinced you’re spinning a near mint copy.
I’m in the midst of a three week purge of some of the finest titles in my collection. Descriptions may be a tad brief, as I’m tryin’ to move through quite a few, and quickly. Let me know if you need more detail. I’m shedding myself of some wonderful psych, jazz, rock, and audiophile pressings in great condition - at what I hope are attractive prices for you. I always will picture the actual item being sold, and sell original pressings unless specifically noted. This week, my camera decided to funk out, so I have presented scans of LP covers (unless I had a pic already on file). They look great, but present only about 75% of the image. Sorry; let me know if you need a different look.
All LPs are packaged securely, with wax separated from cover to prevent split seams, unless the LP is sealed or you request otherwise. USPS media mail shipping/handling adds $4, and insurance is extra. International shipping/handling is $12 (Canada: $7).
