LEE MORGAN “Candy” FIRST PRESSING Blue Note 1590 Mono Vinyl
This is the First Edition, "RVG” stamped, Deep Groove, P-pressing of LEE MORGAN’S “Candy” on the Deep Groove "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 1590.
VINYL plays well, with consistent light surface noise, though many spots are quiet, with intermittent pops or ticks. Above the light surface noise, ensemble sections are dynamic, punchy and clear. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. OK gloss. Clean surface. Many hairline marks, three or four feelable. The "47 West 63rd” labels are generally clean with wear, spindle marks. See photos.
