Description
This is a PROMO COPY ORIGINAL 1969 BLUE NOTE / LIBERTY STEREO PRESSING OF THE 1969 LP titled 'Charisma' from veteran jazz trumpet man Lee Morgan and a stellar group. It is Blue Note Records U.S. catalog number BST 84312, thick rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, thick cardboard gatefold cover. There is a large bold red 'AUDITION COPY' rubber stamp on the inside of the gatefold cover indicating a promo copy as can be seen in my accompanying images.

Condition of record is a mid VG+ with a few surface marks which cannot be felt and do not affect play. Condition of gatefold cover is VG with a number of flaws - Apparently the inside cover slick was torn and lifted up in the area of the 'Audition Copy' rubber stamp at some point and was re-glued down. There are 4" splits in the right hand sides of both the top and bottom edges of the back gatefold and a 2" split in the middle of its bottom edge; I have carefully and neatly repaired these splits by taping from the inside. Cover also has some ring and contact wear and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. I have priced this LP modestly due to the various condition issues, I will leave it to the bidders to determine its final value - This LP would be a nice addition to any Blue Note Records or modern jazz record collection!
