Superb original 1963 U.S. Blue Note stereo first pressing with original advertising inner. A musically brilliant 1st press Blue Note Jazz album in excellent very clean playing condition. The very thick single card cover is also in superb clean and tidy condition. This rare early pressing has 'VAN GELDER' neatly machine stamped in the run-offs of both sides, both sides also have the 'EAR' symbol etched in the run-offs.

A superb original copy of this essential 1963 Lee Morgan Blue Note Jazz rarity.

THICK 1st PRESS STEREO VINYL = EX+

Both run-offs have 'VAN GELDER' machine stamped and the 'EAR' symbol hand etched.

The original thick stereo vinyl is in EX+ condition. Both sides are very clean with a excellent sheen with just a few of very lightest top surface marks, there are no nasty marks, scuffs or scratches at all so there are no loud clicks or pops and no annoying loud crackle.  All tracks play and sound excellent throughout with the absolute minimal amount of very light background hiss/crackle. This album has been very well looked after and has not been overplayed so the sound quality is still excellent, all tracks actually play and sound very close to new, this is excellent playing, sounding original stereo copy that will not disappoint.

BLUE NOTE LABELS = EX

Both Blue Note labels are in great condition, there are just a couple of light marks otherwise the labels are in excellent clean condition.

THICK CARD COVER = EX

The single matt cover is made from very thick rigid card and grades excellent. The spine is almost perfect with all text bold and clear and very easy to read, there are just tiny areas of rubbing at the tips. The top and bottom edges are close to perfect with barely any wear at all. The front panel is in excellent clean condition with minimal signs of ageing/marking/wear and creasing. The back cover is still in excellent clean condition and still looks very white with just some very light signs of ageing and discolouration. This cover still looks really superb and has no bad or unsightly faults at all.

BLUE NOTE ADVERTISING INNER = VG

The original Blue Note Records advertising inner sleeve is still very clean and grades very good. This paper inner has some light corner creasing, there is also a repaired seem split at one edge. The record has been kept in a more vinyl friendly poly-lined inner sleeve for many years to prevent further splits, both inners will be sent with the album to the winning bidder.

I pack my records very well. The vinyl and inner sleeve will be removed from the cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
