YOUR SATISFACTION IS OUR FIRST PRIORITY!
From Blue Note Records (BST 84157) this is THE SIDEWINDER by LEE MORGAN, an original (first) US stereo pressing recorded December 21, 1963; playing time, 40:59.
Jacket shows minor shelf wear with a few light spots beneath the shrink-wrap which is still intact saving the cover from split seams and bumped corners (VG++). Original inner sleeve is present and in VG+ or EX condition.
LP shows a few buffs from sliding in and out of an unfriendly inner sleeve -- not from a needle; play grades NEAR MINT MINUS and better with no distortion even in the more dynamic passages and even when played at top volume. Buffs do NOT adversely affect play. "Van Gelder" and "Ear" stamped in matrix both sides; labels contain "New York USA" and "®" below the "E" in NOTE.
Original inner sleeve is present (VG+); we have replaced it with high-quality sleeve from MFSL and placed the LP in plain white jacket for traveling and for your long-term storage needs at home.
Certainly a showcase piece, it is also one you'll come back to again and again because it plays beautifully. One solid workhorse of a record! Low opening bid with NO RESERVE!
