Description
A nice stereo pressing of The Rumproller album by Lee Morgan on Blue Note (BST 84199) featuring Joe Henderson, Ronnie Mathews, Victor Sproles and Billy Higgins. The address on the back cover reads: "Blue Note Records Inc., 43 West 61st St., New York 23."
The blue and white label reads: "33 1/3 STEREO LONG PLAYING - Blue Note Records Inc New York USA." "VAN GELDER" is machine-etched in the trail off. The hand-etched matrix reads: "BNST-84199." On side 1, the matrix is preceded by an "ear" mark, while on side 2, the "ear" follows the matrix.
Condition:
The front cover has some light ring wear and scuffing. There are three lightly browning splotches (less than an inch-wide each) along the open edge. There is also yellowing blemish in the top left corner (looks like a label has been removed). There is also a small "B260" in black marker to the left of the title. The back cover has a fair amount of discoloration/browning/speckling.
The vinyl is VG+ (8 out of 10, looks used but not abused with some surface marks. There is one light scratch through the last half of the last track that does not skip on my deck -- but it does produce a faint tic, not on every revolution but it's pretty consistent). This LP comes from a non-smoking home. The record you see in the picture is the record you will receive.
Shipping Details:
Shipping will be $4.00 for media mail in the U.S. I ship internationally -- but prefer that international bidders contact me first. I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. I will combine shipping if you win multiple items. Also, I tend to recycle boxes, but I always make sure to pack items, particularly records, securely.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I try to give prompt, thorough answers and I am willing to provide additional pictures (you'll probably have to provide an email address).
Also, please contact me first before bidding if you have zero feedback. I will only ship to a confirmed address.
Check out my other items that are up for grabs. This week it's a batch of LPs on Blue Note label.
