LEE MORGAN The Sidewinder 12" Vinyl Double LP Blue Note Records 1964 Very Good+ Condition
The Sidewinder is a 1964 album by the jazz trumpeter Lee Morgan, recorded at the Van Gelder Studio in Englewood, New Jersey, U.S. It was released on the Blue Note label as BLP 4157 and BST 84157.
The title track, "The Sidewinder", was one of the defining recordings of the soul jazz genre, becoming a jazz standard. An edited version was released as a single.
These LPs we have rated as some of the best condition you will ever find. They have come from a private family collector, many of the LPs for sale from this collection have only ever been a handful of times, each. Each album when played, was catalogued; when it was played, which side and how often.
They have NOT been touched or played since 1980. Stored upright in special LP storage cases. Stored in a heated home nearly 40 years. There will of course be the signs of natural ageing of the covers and inner sleeves but the records themselves will be virtually mark free vinyl.
The maybe occasional marks; such as Spindle marks, or wear on some spines of the outer sleeve. Some inner sleeves have a small amount of written pen detail as part of the cataloging process made by the original owner/collector. Please understand & respect this.
Vinyl Condition: Very Good+ Sleeve: Very Good+ with minor aged related wear signs along edges.
