This is the “VAN GELDER” stamped pressing of LEE MORGAN’s “The Sidewinder” on the "Liberty” labels of Blue Note BST 84157.  Musicians include Lee Morgan – trumpet, Joe Henderson – tenor saxophone, Barry Harris – piano, Bob Cranshaw – bass, Billy Higgins – drums.

VINYL plays very well, practically mint. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No skips. Very Good gloss.  (If you can’t feel it, you won’t hear it). The “Liberty” labels are clean.  See photos.

COVER is in very good shape. Corners worn.  Spine and bottom seam clean. Top seam taped. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket shows pen wear. Please see photos.

 This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
