Description
Decent play copy of this classic Lee Morgan title on Blue Note. Rare original first issue with "47 west 63rd" labels and deep groove on both sides...ear is present too of course.

Numerous marks and hairline scratches on vinyl but it plays pretty good with some very light background snap, crackle, and pops. The opening 10 seconds on side one has a strange "whoosh" groove wear section but after that there are no such groove wear issues. Plays with no groove distortion; just the aforementioned light background noise which is obviously less audible in the louder sections and a bit more audible in the quiet sections. There are no skips and no deep gouges or nasty feelable scratches. I'm grading it VG...not trashed and can be enjoyed if you can handle some crackles and pops.

Cover has significant seam wear and old tape stains and new tape to some seams. Please see pictures. Overall a solid play copy that is certainly enjoyable but not for audiophiles.
