We are taking a short break from listing 12" Singles, as we have just purchased a great collection of rare Jazz records. All of these Jazz Albums are in beautiful condition, including their picture covers! We have listed many Jazz Albums in the past and had great response from many of our bidders, so we hope you'll check our auction pages (again) for the next week or so and take a look-see at some of these fine Jazz records. For those of you who have been visiting our auction site to view and bid on the 12" Singles, we will be listing many more after this Jazz Collection listings are complete. On the Savoy label (Newark, New Jersey), a great Jazz Album, titled, “INTRODUCING LEE MORGAN WITH HANK MOBLEY’S QUINTET, with LEE MORGAN-Trumpet, HANK MOBLEY-Tenor Sax, HANK JONES-Piano, DOUG WATKINS-Bass and ART TAYLOR-Drums”. The record has an ultra-light, horizontal surface mark (hardly visible) on one side and two very small surface marks, near the outer edge of the playing surface, on the other side. These mentioned flaws have no adverse effect of the audio spectrum at all; it’s like they’re not there. The record sounds great! The front of the picture cover has a glossy shine and the back of the cover has some light grayish rub marks around the perimeter. There are no seam splits! When one considers its age, the cover is in great condition! We rate the cover condition as a strong VG++. This Album was released in 1956.
