Description

On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Legend called 'Legend (aka Red Boot)' and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Spiral' Vertigo label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF LEGENDS RAREST EVER LPS AND IS SIMPLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION AND IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 1ST PRESS 'SPIRAL' VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS LARGE 'SPIRAL' VERTIGO LABEL, 1ST PRESS VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Vertigo UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 6360 019 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Large' Vertigo 'Spiral' Label (see picture) and is a UK 1970 Stereo 1st pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 light scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with barely ANY clicks/pops AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some ULTRA faint touches of MEGA low level background sound on the run on grooves and occassional gap - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo 'Spiral' inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in GREAT condition!!!! The cover has only slight darkening/wear to the edges (NO splits, and NO nasty heavy 'fluffy' wear), only slight darkening/wear to the spine (again NO splits and NO nasty heavy 'fluffy' wear), only slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), only VERY light rubbing to the cover front, only VERY light rubbing/ringwear to the cover back, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO writing, barely ANY rubbing, NO ringwear and NO yellowing!!!! This LP was also clearly sitting in the record racks unsold at the shops for a long period back in 1970 - as there are 3 price stickers on the cover front (each one less in price as it was reduced!)!!!! No doubt these could possibly be removed - but my opinion is that removal may seriously damage the cover - and so I would personally leave them well alone. There is also a 'British Pressing' sticker on the front of the cover - and so (like many Vertigos of this period) after this LP didnt sell in the UK shops - it was probably exported at some point. The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!

HAVE A LOOK AT MY PICTURES - I DO MY BEST TO SHOW THE RECORD FROM ALL ANGLES AND MAKE THE PICTURES AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE - THERE IS NOTHING TO HIDE!!!! It really is a GREAT looking LP and it is truly rare to find any copies of this MEGA RARE LP!!!! THIS WILL BE YOUR ONLY CHANCE TO BUY AN ORIGINAL UK 1970 1ST PRESSING OF "LEGEND (AKA RED BOOT)" BY LEGEND, IN GREAT CONDITION!!!!
