Description
Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.
On offer is one of the most desirable VERTIGO SWIRL album there are, so very rarely offered up for sale in this top condition. This mega rare item has come from a private collection belonging to a music journalist, who was often sent albums to be reviewed, along with other rare and pristine items. I will also list soon including more VERTIGO swirl label and RCA neon. due to the nature of her work pre-relaese and promo copies were often sent to her. This copy of MOONSHINE is one of the very first off the press with tripple 1 matrix ending on both sides. I honestly believe that this album has only been played twice, once to be reviewed by the previous owner and once by myself (very carefully on my LINN SONDEK) to check the quality of payback. Which is perfect, as new!
I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD STYLE and UN-LAMINATED. This un-laminated sleeve is in superb condition, with only very minor storage wear. There is no unwanted writing, no seam splits, no stickers, no sticker removal tears and no stains, some VERY minor surface rub but no ring wear. The edges have NO storage/shelf wear and are not split. The spine is fully readable with almost NO edge wear. There is very minor wear to the top and bottom of the spine almost none at all but I like to be accurate. Very nice indeed, 41 years old now! In very strong N/MINT condition, extremely rare in a condition as lovely as this one.
LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, staining, stickers, residue or tears. There is NO spindle wear and NO spindle line/marks on either side. The labels really do look fresh out of the shop NEW. MINT, MINT
SWIRL INNER BAG. this is in great condition, no seam splits, no writing, intact poly lining and almost no age colouring, now 41 years old. In lovely un-marked condition. N/MINT
VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see NO surface hair lines at all, there are no nasty marks or scratches, THIS IS UNDOUBTEDLY THE BEST CONDITION PIECE OF 70'S VINYL I HAVE EVER SEEN. In ANY light this album is MINT. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are NO dust crackles even in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . Visually N/MINT and even better the audio is N/MINT, N/MINT. WONDERFUL! YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER COPY EVER. I would grade it as MINT but I know it has had 2 plays.
This superb condition vinyl has probably been played only once by the previous owner for a review and once by me (with greatest of care on the best equipment) just make sure it sounds as good as it looks, AND IT DOES. It has had a 40 year gap in between it's 2 plays. There cannot be a better copy out there?
THIS ALBUM IS NOW SO VERY VERY RARE AND THIS ONE IS A REAL CRACKER!
