A short lived Birmingham group whose two singles are minor collectables. On offer here we have the first, William Chaulkers Time Machine, a worthwhile slice of UK psychedlia, wrtten by former Move member Ace Kifford. It was produced by another ex-Move man, Trevor Burton (still playing the Brum run and well worth seeing ) and Amen Corners Andy Fairweatherlow.
Smart had earlier been with Danny King and the Mayfair Set with Trevor Burton and Mike Hopkins had joined Denny (Laine) and the Diplomats. Hopkins was in the latter days of Idle Race.Gary Wortley moved to Canada and Keith Smart was later in the Uglys, Balls, Wizard and Mongrel.
Only other opportunity to get this song on vinyl is to track down one of the following British Pyschedelia compilations - Nightmares in Wonderland (LP) or 60,s Back beat (LP)
Visually can only grade the vinyl as VG, but the playback quality on both sides is excellent, no hiss, crackle, clicks or skips.
