Description

We are a shop/record label located in West Wickham, Kent, dealing in most styles from the 50's, 60s, 70s and early 80s. All the records / cds listed on ebay are fully guaranteed as to the conditions described.  We use professional packing with reinforcements added , and the discs are separated from the sleeves to avoid seam splitting.

Postage is combined if buying more than one item, and all you'll be charged is the actual cost. All LPs are sent via recorded / signed for delivery due to the fact that we do not want them left on the doorstep if you're not in!

Amazingly enough, this is the second copy I've had of this album. Not bad for an LP that record collector says only 3 copies exist! Of course there's more than 3 but I'd be surprised if there were more than 20 as it is super rare. Being where we're located (South Of The Thames), there were a lot of pressing plants in and around here in the 60s and demos from both Decca and Pye labels come through the door quite regularly.

No copies at all were pressed in the USA and only vinyl without sleeves was pressed exclusively in the UK. The last one I had was a test pressing, so bizarre to see one with proper labels although I was aware they existed. The story goes that Len Barry was just about to sign a deal with RCA, so U.S. Decca cancelled the release, but production in the UK had already reached the pressing stage. I'm not sure if the art ever escaped in a proof form, but I've never seen one.

This album has now had a CD release as 'The Lost Lp', but it's the music in the grooves that have made this album almost legendary. Some really great Northern Soul!
