La Courte Échelle CE-8010, 1979 (Canada) Stereo
Near impossible-to-find second (and last) Long Play from l'Engoulevant.
Created and recorded as the soundtrack for a childrens' book by Quebec author Bernard Gauthier, this obscure album features excellent Quebec-flavoured progressive folk-rock written and performed by l'Engoulevent.
Karrik founding member Michel McLean (guitars, vocals), Pierre Moreau (piano, mini-Moog, harp synth), Francoise Turcotte (violin), André Parenteau (Ovila, Vos Voisins) on bass, Conventum's Bernard Cormier (violin, guitar) & Mathieu Léger (drums, percussion), and with Plume's brass section Patrice Dufour (trombone) & Serge Choinère (trumpet).
