LEO PARKER NEW TRENDS OF JAZZ MONO 10" LP SAVOY MG 9018
From 1952 comes this original mono deep groove pressing of Leo Parker's 10" LP New Trends of Jazz Volume Five (Savoy MG 9018), featuring assists from - among others - Gene Ammons and Howard McGhee.
The cover is very good plus due to some ring and edge wear in addition to an inch-long seam split in its lower right-hand corner, a half-inch split in its upper right, some spotting and scuffing, a bit of peeling along the mouth (about an inch up from the bottom), a small sticker tear in the upper right corner of its back, some rubber-stamping in the upper left corner of its back, and a former owner's initials written inside the trumpet graphic on the front. The 10" itself is excellent.
To protect your investment, this LP - as with all vinyl purchased at The Great Escape Online - will be placed in a new plastic outer sleeve prior to packing and shipping.
