Description

Leon Kartun, was a French pianist, 1895 - c. 1982, studied under Louis Diemer at the Conservatory Paris:

12" French Odeon AA 171055: Liszt, Etude de Concert, La Leggierezza in F minor No 2 / Liszt, Rêve d'amour in A flat major G 326 No 3. Matrices xxP 6683-2 and 6682-1. Condition: 1-2

12" French Odeon 171065: Chopin, Fantaisie impromptu in C flat minor op.66 posth. / Bach, Suite Anglaise, Bourree No 2. Matrices xxP 6677-1 and 6676-2.  Condition: 1-2

Grading:

1 = mint, never played on gramophone, is not used

1-2 = top copy, no traces of use - virtually as new

2 = excellent copy, few light non-sounding rubs/marks

2-3 = light traces of wear (rubs/marks), very light greying and/or light scratches, non sounding blemishes

3 = a good average copy with more noticeable rubs and marks; light greying, few light scratches possible

3-4 = more traces of use, sonic wear from light greying. An inferior average copy, light scratches possible

4 = some sounding wear, heavier rubs and marks, scratches possible

5 = obvious sounding wear, heavy rubs, marks, scratches. An unsatisfactory copy.
