Description
Beautiful copy of the legendary and very rare 1958 Les Baxter space-age “lounge” exotica masterpiece, Space Escapade, on Capitol T-968. Rainbow “side-logo” labels. The disc is very nearly mint and plays absolutely flawlessly and just beautifully. There is one, maybe two very light superficial scuffs but they don’t affect the play in the least. Really a top, top player. The cover has some fraying at the top edge and top left corner, a slightly creased top right corner, and a name written on the back. Still it is a truly gorgeous copy of the famous cover, and it looks just mesmerizingly clean. The fantastic space image of astronauts partying with space girls and space drinks is just about one of the best covers of its kind, and this copy has nothing to deter from its beauty. No ringwear and no scuffing or marking or fading of any sort. Really a beautiful copy inside and out. Rare! Hard to top this one.
