Description

This collection-filler copy of the French 1st pressing of the 'Beatles For Sale' is one of the hardest to find of all their French LPs. This genuine original 1965 mono pressing is on the orange & black Odeon label: OSX 228. It has been housed in an outer fully laminated gatefold cover with open central front window. The set comes complete with its original front laminated insert with the red/orange upper banner. Matrix numbers are as follows: XAR 809 21/M6 238684 & XAR 810 21 & M6 238685.

The disc is in a Good Plus condition with numerous surface marks and scratches. There is also a slight uneven edge which does not affect the quality of play.

Both sides of this copy play with some background crackle and moderate playwear mostly on the final few tracks on side 1. Please take a listen to the flat, unfiltered recording of this album BEFORE you bid.

The cover is in a Fair condition. It is very tired and age-worn with tape repairs at the seams and back.
