Les Joyaux De La Princesse collaboration with Pagan writer and scholar Freya Aswynn (ex Sixth Comm).
Les Joyaux De La Princesse is THE cult French industrial band, founded in 1986. The musical style is a mixture of ambient and neo-classical, often utilizing samples from original works in tandem with French chansons, operatic works, and historical speeches.
Freya Aswynn is a figure of considerable distinction within the Norse heathen community. A dedicated priestess of Odin and rune-mistress, Freya Aswynn also has important links to the development of the original neo-folk scene of the 1980s. Freya Aswynn contributed vocals to several Current 93 albums, she also worked with Ian Read’s project Fire + Ice.
Wolf Rune is a magic invocation designed to be performed in ritual conditions. Aswynn’s resonant voice rings out imperiously, invoking in turn Odin, Heimdall, Thor and Freya from the north, east and south and west respectively.
Another superb packing: limited edition of 300 white-sleeve copies, clear vinyl. The record itself comes sealed with string and a wax seal placed in the center hole of the record which needed to be broken in order to play it. Brand new archive copy never played never opened, seal is intact (see picture 3).

Allfather of the folk. lend thine strength to the work to be performed.
 from the East I call upon Thee. noble Heimdal. Teacher of Men and Guardian of the Bridge. The necklace Brisingamen. the fruit of my mind. inspired by the Gods. has been stolen once more. be thou my champion. O Defender of the defenceless. Thou Shinning One.
